League Rules
Sponsor: Grygiel Golf Operations Inc.
Fee: $30.00 per team plus green
fees and cart rentals – Fee to be paid at Lodge
This league will run from April 17, 2008 – August 25th with a banquet on time and date to be annouced at
in teh near future. Teams can play anytime from Monday – Sunday. Score cards
must be turned in at the Lodge by Noon on the following Monday.
Each Team will consist of two players. Whenever
possible try to golf with another couple. If you can’t remember this is just for fun. Leave the serious play for the
paid professionals.
Scramble Format
Ø USGA Rules govern all play.
Ø White stakes/painted lines
indicate out of bounds.
Ø Red
stakes/painted lines indicate lateral water hazards.
Ø Yellow stakes/painted lines indicate water hazards.
Ø
Pairings: Two team
players will play together, making up the two person team for the scramble.
Ø
Format of Play: Two person Scramble Ladies can play from Ladies
Tees
Ø On
every hole, each member shall hit a tee shot. The group then decides which ball to play. Each member then hits
from that position. The hole is then completed by following the same format.
Ø
Players can move the ball one club length no closer to the hole
from the original position.
Ø In
moving one club length, ball must stay in the same condition. Example: Ball in the rough, must stay in rough.
POINT SYSTEM FOR PRIZES
Each score is given a point value based on the net score .
Ø Each player will receive1
participation point per play day
Ø Play points will be awarded for 1st through 5th place.
o 1st place team will receive 5 points per player.
o 2nd place
team will receive 4 points per player.
o
3rd place team will receive 3 points per player.
o 4th place team will receive 2 points per player.
o 5th place team will receive 1 point per player.

Ø Eagle ~ Five Points
Ø Birdies ~ Four points
Ø Par ~ Two points
Ø Bogey ~ One point
Ø Double Bogey ~ No points
Ø Triple Bogey ~ Minus one point
In the Event of a Tie: Teams that tie will split the cumulative points
for that week.
